I just didn’t have the words for our experience, so with a few AI prompts – this is it:

Hiring a driver for a day along the Amalfi Coast is an experience in itself—one part breathtaking beauty, one part white-knuckle thrill ride. As our van wound its way along the impossibly narrow cliffside roads, the Mediterranean was a dazzling sapphire below. Each turn revealed another postcard-perfect view—pastel villages clinging to the cliffs, terraces heavy with lemon trees, and waves lapping against the rugged shore. Our driver, a true artist of the asphalt, navigated hairpin curves with effortless precision, squeezing past oncoming buses with mere inches to spare. We held our breath more than once, only to exhale in laughter and amazement at his skill. The towns were a whirlwind of color and energy—Positano’s steep alleys, Amalfi’s bustling piazza, and Ravello’s serene gardens perched high above the coast. Through it all, the chaos of crowds and traffic melted away, leaving only the wonder of this iconic stretch of Italian coastline.

Back to my mundane blog:
After our tour, we stopped at the “Mini Market” and bought some fresh produce, and bread to accompany the “Aglio, Olio, Peppercini” that we were preparing for dinner. With all hands on deck, the meal turned out to be fantastic. We lingered on the patio until we were too chilled and headed in. The problem is, we honestly think the house is chillier than outside! It’s charming, but all ceramic tile. I’m sure it feels marvelous in the heat of the summer.

We are headed to Capri tomorrow – so we hit the hay pretty early.
